1. What We Do

InvoiceSnap ("InvoiceSnap," "we," "our") is an AI-powered receipt scanning service. You upload receipt images, our AI extracts structured data (vendor, date, totals, line items), and you export the results. That's it.

2. Data We Process

  • Receipt images - uploaded for AI processing, then immediately discarded. We do not store your images on our servers after processing is complete.
  • Extracted data - vendor name, date, amounts, line items, and other structured fields are returned to your browser. This data is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB and is never sent to our servers after the initial extraction.
  • Usage metrics - we track anonymous scan counts per IP address to enforce free-tier limits (3 free scans). We do not associate this with personally identifiable information.
  • License keys - if you purchase credits, your license key is stored locally in your browser. We use it to verify credit balances via our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy).

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require an account or sign-up.
  • We do not collect your name, email, or personal information.
  • We do not store receipt images after processing.
  • We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
  • We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

  • AI Processing - receipt images are sent to our secure backend for AI extraction. Images are processed in memory and not persisted to disk.
  • Lemon Squeezy - handles payment processing for credit pack purchases. Their privacy policy governs how they handle payment information. We never see or store your payment details.

5. Data Storage & Security

All extracted receipt data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device after the initial AI extraction. Clearing your browser data will remove all stored receipts. We use HTTPS for all data transmission between your browser and our servers.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data or maintain user accounts, there is minimal data to manage. Your receipt data lives in your browser - you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser storage. If you have questions about data we may have processed, contact us at support@invoicesnap.co.
