1. Service Overview

InvoiceSnap ("InvoiceSnap," "Service") is a web-based receipt scanning tool that uses AI to extract structured data from receipt and invoice images. The Service is provided by InvoiceSnap.

2. Free Tier & Credits

  • New users receive 3 free scans with no sign-up required. Free scans are tracked by IP address.
  • Additional scans can be purchased as credit packs. Credits are one-time purchases and never expire.
  • Credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase by contacting support.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing for future credit pack purchases. Previously purchased credits will not be affected.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use InvoiceSnap only for:

  • Scanning legitimate receipts, invoices, and financial documents.
  • Personal or business bookkeeping and expense tracking.

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities, fraud, or document forgery.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI processing API.
  • Circumvent free-tier limits through IP manipulation or other means.
  • Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

4. Accuracy & Liability

InvoiceSnap uses AI to extract data from receipts. While we strive for high accuracy, AI extraction is not 100% perfect. You are responsible for verifying all extracted data before using it for tax filings, accounting, or other official purposes.

InvoiceSnap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or penalties resulting from inaccurate data extraction, service downtime, or any other use of the Service.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of InvoiceSnap is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary: receipt images are processed and immediately discarded. Extracted data is stored locally in your browser. We do not require accounts or collect personal information.

6. Payment Processing

Credit pack purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By purchasing credits, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment information.

7. Service Changes & Termination

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
  • We may terminate access to users who violate these terms.
  • If we discontinue the Service, we will honor refund requests for unused credits purchased within the preceding 90 days.

8. Intellectual Property

The InvoiceSnap service, branding, and underlying technology are owned by InvoiceSnap. You retain full ownership of your receipt images and extracted data. We claim no rights over your content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
